Description

M10 X 1.5 HSS Taper Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a M10 cutting diameter, 1-1/4" of flute, 2-15/16" overall length and a 0.276 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
  • M10 thread at 1.5 threads per inch.
