Description

M8 X 1.25 HSS Spiral Point Tap for tapping through holes where chips eject ahead of the tap. The angled spiral point drives chips forward and out the far side of the hole, so the flutes stay clear and the tap does not pack up and bind. This size has a M8 cutting diameter, 1-1/8" of flute, 2-23/32" overall length and a 0.276 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
