Features

  • Special HSS round adjustable die designed for threading with improved wear life.
  • Chamfer geometry: one face provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for threading, opposite face provides a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.
  • Adjustment via a fine pitch screw that forces the die halves apart or allows them to spring together for precise control.
  • Slot is beveled so, when used with a machine holder, the adjusting screw can be removed and adjustment made by the holder’s screws.
