Description

7/32"-32 UNS HSS Plug Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 7/32" cutting diameter, 15/16" of flute and 2-3/8" overall length.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
  • 7/32" thread at 32 threads per inch.
