Description

7/16"-20 UNF HSS Plug Hand Tap for tapping recessed and hard-to-reach holes. An extended shank puts the cutting section well ahead of the drive, reaching threads recessed below a surface or down inside a bore. This size has a 7/16" cutting diameter, 3" of flute, 8" overall length and a 0.323" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
