Description

1/8"-27 NPT HSS NPT Pipe Tap for cutting tapered pipe thread in fittings and manifolds. The tapered thread form wedges as it engages, so the joint seals on the thread flanks themselves rather than on a gasket. This size has a 1/8" cutting diameter, 3/4" of flute, 2-1/8" overall length and a 0.4375" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
