Description

M4 X 0.7 HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a M4 cutting diameter, 3/4" of flute, 2-1/8" overall length and a 0.168 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • M4 thread at 0.7 threads per inch.
