Description

M2 X 0.4 HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a M2 cutting diameter, 7/16" of flute, 1-3/4" overall length and a 0.098 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
