Description

M1.6 X 0.35 HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a M1.6 cutting diameter, 5/16" of flute, 1-5/8" overall length and a 0.098 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
