Description

7/8"-9 UNC HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 7/8" cutting diameter, 2-7/32" of flute, 4-11/16" overall length and a 0.697" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
