Description

#4-36 UNS HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a #4 cutting diameter, 9/16" of flute, 1-7/8" overall length and a 0.11" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • #4 thread at 36 threads per inch.
