Description

#12-24 UNC HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a #12 cutting diameter, 15/16" of flute, 2-3/8" overall length and a 0.22" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • #12 thread at 24 threads per inch.
