Description

1/2"-13 UNC HSS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 1/2" cutting diameter, 1-21/32" of flute, 3-3/8" overall length and a 0.367" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • 1/2" thread at 13 threads per inch.
