Description

M12 X 1.75 HSS Bottoming Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a M12 cutting diameter, 1-21/32" of flute, 3-3/8" overall length and a 0.367 shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
