Description

3/4"-6 Acme HSS Acme Tap for cutting Acme power-transmission threads in lead screws and jacks. The 29 degree trapezoidal Acme form carries load along a broad flank, transmitting motion under thrust far better than a vee thread. This size has a 3/4" cutting diameter, 4-5/16" of flute, 7-15/16" overall length and a 0.59" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
