Description

1"-5 Acme HSS Acme Tap for cutting Acme power-transmission threads in lead screws and jacks. The 29 degree trapezoidal Acme form carries load along a broad flank, transmitting motion under thrust far better than a vee thread. This size has a 1" cutting diameter, 5-1/4" of flute, 10-1/8" overall length and a 0.8" shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
  • 1" thread at 5 threads per inch.
