Description

1-1/2"-4 Acme HSS Acme Tap for cutting Acme power-transmission threads in lead screws and jacks. The 29 degree trapezoidal Acme form carries load along a broad flank, transmitting motion under thrust far better than a vee thread. This size has a 1-1/2" cutting diameter, 5-7/8" of flute and 12-5/8" overall length.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
  • 1-1/2" thread at 4 threads per inch.
