Description

1-1/4"-7 UNC CS Taper Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 1-1/4" cutting diameter, 2-9/16" of flute, 5-3/4" overall length and a 1.021" shank.

  • Carbon Steel construction that suits hand use and softer material where cutting speeds stay low.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
