Description

#12-28 UNF CS Plug Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a #12 cutting diameter, 15/16" of flute, 2-3/8" overall length and a 0.22" shank.

  • Carbon Steel construction that suits hand use and softer material where cutting speeds stay low.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
