Description

1"-12 UNF CS Hand Tap Set for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 1" cutting diameter, 2-1/2" of flute, 5-1/8" overall length and a 0.8" shank.

  • Carbon Steel construction that suits hand use and softer material where cutting speeds stay low.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
