Description

5/8"-11 UNC CS Bottoming Hand Tap for cutting internal threads by hand or in a tapping head. Cutting edges on the chamfered lead progressively form the thread as the tap advances, with straight flutes carrying chips back out of the hole. This size has a 5/8" cutting diameter, 1-13/16" of flute, 3-13/16" overall length and a 0.48" shank.

  • Carbon Steel construction that suits hand use and softer material where cutting speeds stay low.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
