Safety
- OSHA limits fall arrest forces on a worker wearing a full-body harness to 1,800 lbs.
- When using any rope grab, freefall distance must never exceed 6'. Gemtor notes that a 2' or 3' lanyard is the reliable way to ensure this.
- This model must be used with an energy absorbing lanyard that reduces arrest forces to 1,800 lbs. or less.
