Description

9/64" Drill Bit for drilling and countersinking tough alloys in one pass. Cobalt is alloyed into the steel rather than applied as a coating, so the red hardness runs through the whole tool and survives resharpening. This size has a 9/64" cutting diameter, 1-3/4" of flute, 2-7/8" overall length and a round shank.

  • Cobalt construction that carries cobalt through the whole tool for red hardness in work-hardening alloys.
  • Gold finish, a stress-relieving surface treatment that reduces built-up edge.
