Description

7/16" Reduced Shank Drill Bit for large-diameter drilling in tough alloys from a smaller chuck. The shank is turned down below the cutting diameter so a large hole can be drilled from a smaller chuck, without buying a bigger drill. This size has a 7/16" cutting diameter, 4-1/16" of flute, 5-1/2" overall length and a round shank.

  • Cobalt construction that carries cobalt through the whole tool for red hardness in work-hardening alloys.
  • Gold finish, a stress-relieving surface treatment that reduces built-up edge.
