5/16" Glass & Tile Drill Bit for drilling glass, ceramic tile and porcelain. The ground carbide spear point scores and fractures a clean starting hole rather than cutting a chip, so it is run at low speed with water or cutting fluid to keep the tip cool. This size has a 5/16" cutting diameter, 3" overall length and a round shank.

  • Carbide tipped cutting edges that stay sharp in abrasive and hard material well past HSS.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish for a clean cutting edge in soft and gummy material.
