Description

3/8" X 5/32" Taper Shank Counterbore for flat-bottoming holes so socket and cap screw heads sit flush. A pilot runs in the existing hole to hold concentricity while the flat-bottomed cutter opens a recess sized to a socket or cap screw head. This size has a 3/8" cutting diameter, 4-1/16" overall length and a taper shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
