Description

2-1/4" X 1/2" Straight Shank Counterbore for flat-bottoming holes so socket and cap screw heads sit flush. A pilot runs in the existing hole to hold concentricity while the flat-bottomed cutter opens a recess sized to a socket or cap screw head. This size has a 2-1/4" cutting diameter, 9-7/8" overall length and a round shank.

  • HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
  • Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
