Description
1-7/8" X 1-5/8" 2 Flute Single End End Mill for profiling, slotting and face milling on a mill or machining center. Cutting edges run on the periphery and across the end, so the tool removes material sideways and downward and can profile, slot, pocket and face from one setup. This size has a 1-7/8" cutting diameter, 1-5/8" of flute, 4-1/8" overall length and a 3/4" shank.
- HSS construction that holds a keen edge at moderate cutting speeds and regrinds easily.
- Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.

Applications
For milling steel, stainless, cast iron, aluminum and brass on a knee mill or machining center. Fewer flutes clear chips better in soft material; more flutes give a finer finish in steel.
