Description
1-1/4" X 2" 4 Flute Single End End Mill for profiling, slotting and face milling on a mill or machining center. Cutting edges run on the periphery and across the end, so the tool removes material sideways and downward and can profile, slot, pocket and face from one setup. This size has a 1-1/4" cutting diameter, 2" of flute, 4-1/4" overall length and a 3/4" shank.
- Cobalt construction that carries cobalt through the whole tool for red hardness in work-hardening alloys.
- Uncoated (Bright) finish, leaves the edge bare for free cutting.
- 4 flutes for chip clearance and finish.

Applications
For milling steel, stainless, cast iron, aluminum and brass on a knee mill or machining center. Fewer flutes clear chips better in soft material; more flutes give a finer finish in steel.
