In April of 1947  Mutual Screw & Hardware opened its doors. Started by the father and son team of Harry & Herbert Migdal, business concentrated on the Furniture and Dinette Industry in the New York City Metropolitan area.

In addition to manufacturing certain fasteners, Mutual stocked and distributed Hinges, Levelers, Draw Pulls and Tools.

Today Mutual is run by a team possessing over 100 years of experience. Mark Warner (Herb Migdal’s son-in-law) has been in the fastener industry since 1971. David Kaplan (Vice President and former owner of Riteloc) grew up in the fastener industry. Art Ottimo (VP of Sales) is the former owner of All Fasteners. Rick Murray (Director of Purchasing) began his career in 1979 with Industrial Fasteners / Cap Screw and Nut Corp. Dennis Shanahan (Director of Industrial Sales) began his career in 1974 with Jefferson Screw & Bolt.
