This 1.00mm Metric Cobalt Drill is made in the USA and is manufactured to National Aerospace Standard 907. It features heat resistant cobalt and it displays a higher red hardness which permits speeds to to 30% greater than high speed steel drills. These cobalt drills are especially effective in drilling tough, high tensile strength materials like PH Stainless Steel, Inconel and Titanium. The 135 Degree split point is self-centering and reduces thrust. Sizes smaller than 1/16" have the standard 118 Degree point.
